Vinyasa Flow creatively and intuitively weaves together yoga postures and breath to promote body clairvoyance and presence. Postures improve strength, endurance, balance and increase bone density. This moving meditation will not only challenge you physically but will assist to relieve stress and promote balance. Suitable for all levels.

Exercise for your joints! This passive style of yoga is suitable for all levels; based on the principles of the ancient Chinese concepts of Yin and Yang, the opposite and complementary principles working synergistically throughout the body. With the breath as the primary component and the use of props, the muscles of the body are relaxed in order to gently stress the deeper layers of connective tissue and fascia within the bones, ligaments, tendons, joints and muscles. Poses are held longer (3-7 minutes) as the body rests into stillness, improving range of motion and mobility while promoting clarity, body awareness and overall well-being.

Beginners and older adults will appreciate the slower pace and focus on strength and balance basics this class provides. The practice results in improved circulation, flexibility, increased strength and bone density, and a quiet, restful mind, leaving students grounded and energized for the day ahead.
Chair Yoga (SS)

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline originating in ancient India; while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is also about creating balance in the body through development of both strength and flexibility by performing poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. This class is perfect for those wanting to experience the benefits of a yoga practice, without placing unnecessary strain on the joints of the knees, hips, wrists and shoulders as postures are done either from a standing position or while seated in a chair. As this is a SilverSneakers class, fitness shoes are required.
Yoga for Golf
60 minutes - Intermediate
Improve your golf performance! This class incorporates flexibility, coordination, strength, balance, core conditioning, breathing awareness, focus and concentration, relaxation and visualization techniques. The postures are weight bearing and use the force of gravity and your own body weight to build strength and endurance. The flexibility gained from a yoga practice increases your range of motion and power in the golf swing and prevents injuries. Modifications are taught so good for yoga beginners with intermediate fitness ability :)
Let Go, Let Flow Qigong (SS)

This class begins with 15 minutes of Seated Relaxation Exercises to provide the quiet that enables you to feel the energy and prepare for the physical practice. Let Go Let Flow Gentle Exercises, are designed from the healing Art and Science of Qigong. Qigong (pronounced Chee Gong) is an ancient physical discipline that means “energy work or effort” As you Let Go and relax into the gentle and slow movements and Let Flow your breath, your internal relaxed awareness becomes a massage to all 50 trillion cells of your body to feel completely comfortable in your body.
Yoga + Chanting + Meditation

This all levels class offers emotional steadiness, grounding, and harmony within the entire body. Warm up with gentle yoga movements to guide the mind and body into the chanting portion of this class, which promotes stability, unity and a sense of grounding. End with a guided meditation to relax the entire brain and body, including the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain. Meditation allows us to enter a space of internal expansiveness, calm and joy while having a positive and transformative effect on our interactions with others and the world around us. As you experience your inner storehouse of peace and security, you will naturally begin to discover aspects of yourself previously hidden by the anxiety and stress of daily life.
Strength & Balance (SS)

This functional fitness class is perfect for aging adults, those new to exercise, or anyone recovering from an injury as it focuses on strengthening the body with a combination of light intensity cardio, weights and body resistance to build strength, increase bone density, as well as improve balance and circulation. Wear closed toed shoes for this class, no mat required.
Zumba Gold (SS)

Perfect for active adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the class introduces easy to follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.

Perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the work out of workout , by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
Yoga 4 Kids
60 min - Ages 3-8 yrs
In this class, children will be introduced to age appropriate techniques presented in their language to help them focus and center themselves. Through breath, mindfulness, and fun yoga postures, kids gain confidence in themselves and respect for others learning challenging yoga poses with partners and in groups. Basic anatomy is woven into this class to help children learn about the body- specifically muscles, bones and organs, such as the heart, lungs, stomach, etc. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise Saffron has mats available for kids to use during class.
SilverSneakers Classes (SS)
Classes designated (SS) are SilverSneakers approved classes designed specifically for aging adults. Many insurance companies participate in the SilverSneakers program and cover the entire cost of these classes for their eligible members; ask for more information or to find out if you are eligible
FREE Saturday Yoga Classes
Join us on the first Saturday of each month for a FREE yoga class to help local seniors and pets in Yuma! We have partnered with Helping Hands of Yuma and The Humane Society of Yuma and we simply ask participants to bring a *nonperishable food item to donate to either organization. Please note that space is limited and this class is first come first served, so no online sign ups. Be sure to check our online class schedule for the latest information on this free class.
